One thing I did notice is that the Google toolbar only works in the 32bit IE. If the program you install is not 64bit compatible it will run at 32. The OS will create 2 Program Files folders one for 32bit and one for 64bit. Avast antivirus works with it www.avast.com . Make sure you have 64bit drivers for your MB.

All of a sudden the Security Center ceased to recognize the Avast antivirus which I have installed on my PC (Windows XP SP2). What happened and what can I do about it (besides uninstalling Avast and reinstalling it again)? Modify some registry entries? Config files? It is a little bit irritating though Avast works

AVAST Outlook conflict
This is a key for me, as I run a lot of older programs that work just fine and do exactly what I want them to.
